Today, I’ll talk about my plan for the essay. I chose the film UP.
I divide this talk into four parts.
First, I will describe the ​Feedback from the last tutorial.
Then, I will talk about Bibliography.
After that, I will ​Structure of Essay.
Finally, I will give an example about editing from UP.
Now, let’s turn to the next page.
Bibliography I researched.
There are so many fantastic ideas that surprised me. Such as, our brain and sensory systems, …., is the presence of result of past evolution….our relationship with motion pictures, then, can be understood as ‘ancient biology interfacing with recent technology.’ This view helped me open another world of thinking. As I learn more, my thought world becomes more critical and broader. For example, I focused more on vision than other elements before I came to LCC. And now, I can catch the rhythm, the relationship between Motion frames, and so on. It’s fantastic.
I learned a lot. And the basics of editing books, such as grammar of edit, took me into a new field, and I watched movies from the perspective of editing. I will continue to read in-depth and combine Up to put forward my own opinions.

The structure of my essay.
I will divide my essay into three parts—discourse, which discusses animation ideas from different views. And the Bibliography most from Chris’ supporting material and the UAL library.
The second part is an analysis of the Up. It is also an essential part of my essay.
The analysis will include the relationship between film and audience, to use film languages analyze Up, focus on editing, creative environment, focus on editing. The last part is the conclusion. Most of the Bibliography is from the UAL library and other official websites.
And I also give examples to show my essay’s structure.
These scenes use a jar to let the audience connect the time together. The audience can simply receive information, and over time, the protagonist keeps saving money in the jar. This is form edit.
